~ 19th Century Arabic Jezail Percussion Musket ~

A very nice piece, quite exquisite back in its day, with a brass rifled and fluted barrel fixed in place with bras rings.

The wooden stock is heavily decorated with traditional brass elements some shaped as daggers.

The rings holding the barrel in place and the lockplate are etched with foliage motifs.

The hammer is dolphin shaped.

An unusual feature is the adjustable rear sight.

~ Condition ~

The mechanism needs servicing as it will not cock and fire.

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel is 81 cm long and the overall length of the piece is 116 cm.
