~ WW1 1897 Pattern British Army Officers Sword By Ryon And Burton ~

Here we have a sturdy Edward the 7th period sword with the King's cypher to both sides of the blade. The blade is unusually heavy and wide.

It was made by Ryon and Burton and bears the proofing star.

It comes with its steel scabbard which has a nickel throat and two suspension rings.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition. The guard is firm, the grip has fish skin loss. A good solid piece.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 107 cm (42 inches) in total length with a 90 cm (35.5 inches) blade.
