~ Platinum And Semi Precious Stone Branch Brooch ~
Here we have a very nice brooch in the shape of a branch in platinum and a large variety of semi precious stones.
This rather large but still delicate and elaborate brooch is made of three main branches of platinum with a smaller set of branches to hold the gems.
The gems are a variety of semi precious stones which give the brooch an explosion of colour from amethysts, garnets, topaz and sapphires.
The brooch is secured with a locking C clasp.
The stones are all 4.5 to 5mm rounds so all between .33 to .50 carats.
The presentation box that comes with the piece is marked with the maker. L. W. Waring of Corporation Street, Lincoln.
