~ Royal Doulton Character Jug - Brian Johnston - Cricketers Series D7018 ~
An unboxed Royal Doulton produced jug from the Cricketers series, based on the likeness of Brian Johnston, a BBC cricket commentator, famous radio broadcaster & TV presenter from 1946 to 1993.
This particular jug was released by Lawleys by Post & designed by Stanley J. Taylor & numbered D7018. It was issued in 1996 in a limited edition of 9,500, this is number 927.
The handle is in the form of a microphone with a cricket ball and bail towards the end.

The jug has a width of 3.5 inches (8.9cm), a depth of 2.5 inches (6.3cm) and a height of 5 inches (12.75cm). It weighs 270g.

The jug is in a very nice condition with no wear or damages.
