A superb Blue bladed K98, with a maker’s mark of JWH which is Manufacture Nationale (Staatliche Waffenfabrik) Chatellerault, France. so this bayonet was made in occupied France. The serial No is 8184, the back edge of the blade is marked 43 for the year of manufacture. Numbers of proof marking can be seen at the top of the pommel. The frog has gfg 1942 stamped to the rear. The scabbard is made by Carl Eickhorn in 1939 and bears the serial No 4959

A K98 in excellent condition with a blued blade which is unmarked as is the pommel, crossguard, and grips. The scabbard is made by Carl Eickhorn in 1939, and is in superb condition also with very little paint loss, no dents or scratches. The frog is in undamaged
