A beautiful hand carved cameo brooch set in 9ct yellow gold.

The brooch features the delicate detailing of the traditional cameo subject of a ladies bust in profile.

The cameo is beautifully framed with gold detailing around the circumference.

The piece is hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham. The hallmark is a little worn so it’s difficult to read any more information.

The piece is fitted with both a clasp to the back and a suspension ring to the top so the cameo can be a brooch or a pendant.
