~ Two-Piece Christening Set Of Baby's Spoon & Pusher c1936 ~
A lovely cased silver christening set comprising of a babys spoon and pusher.
The pieces are of a plain but elegant design with the handles turned back upon themselves..
Both pieces are hallmarked for Silver, Birmingham, 1936 and have a makers stamp for ‘Barker Brothers Silver Ltd’.
The set comes in a case of textured leatherette with a cream silk and black velvet interior.
~ Dimensions ~
The spoon measures 9cm (3 ½ inches).
The pusher measures 8.5cm (3 ½ inches).
The cased set in case weighs 130g.
~ Condition ~
The spoon has a small split in the bowl where the handle attaches to the bowl. The handle look as though it has possibly been bent a
little at one end.
The pusher has a slight bend.
Both have some scratching but are in a decent overall condition.
The case is a little stained to the interior and also a little worn on the outside but is in sound working order.
