The ring is gold and marked '375' for 9ct gold on the inside of the ring, it is also hallmarked for London 1991 and has a makers mark of 'LH'.
The central stone is ruby (0.25 carats) and is a very dark red. There are four diamonds around the ruby and each is 0.01 carats.
