The 2nd pattern, 3rd Issue, Fairburn Sykes dagger has a steel double edged black blade and a brass chequered grip.

This particular pattern was used during the Second World War

The piece bears no marks or stamps to insure the secrecy of the manufacturer’s name and facilities and to hide the nationality of the soldier using it.

It comes with its original brown leather with a brass chape

~ Dimensions ~

The dagger has a total length of 11.5 inches (29.2 cm) with the blade measuring 6.6 inches (16.7 cm).

It weighs 275 grams.

~ Condition ~

The blade remains in excellent condition with some dark spots and field usage sighs.

The grip remains in good condition with the expected field usage marks

The scabbard is in good overall condition but the elastic band is worn.
