~ 16th Century Poleaxe With Original Shaft ~

The blade has an axe head, serrated rear blade and long spike.

The original wooden shaft has an octagonal cross section, two suspension hooks and a very old collectors label. It is fitted with a later tassel.

~ Condition ~

The blade has surface rust. The shaft is in good order.

~ Dimensions ~

The polearm is 234 cm (92 inches) in total length with a 49 cm (19.25 inches) blade.
