The helmet is faintly stamped on the rear, inner lip. My best guess is 891 and an un-sidedown 2.

The helmet is painted with black irregular shapes and a light dusting of sand indicating it was mostly used in built up areas rather than the countryside so most likely the Eastern Front.

There are no decals. The liner is named 'M. Plendl.
