WW2 German Luftwaffe 8-day Cockpit Clock by Kienzle

This is an 8-day cockpit clock from a Luftwaffe aircraft from World War 2. This model is the FL 23886 or BO UK II and was intended for use by navigators, but is found in several flight instrument panels including the Heinkel HE 72 Kadett and Messerschmitt Bf 109. This particular cockpit clock is mounted to a decorative wooden stand. Inside the clock is the stamp BAL 187 and manufacturer’s name “MAHLE”.

*Condition*

The clock is in good condition for its age. There are some surface dirt and marks on the outer face. Does not appear to be functioning and may need testing. Please see pictures for more detail.
