Here we have a nice 1821 Artillery Officers Sword by the Wilkinson sword company manufactured during their busiest sword producing period, WW1. This is a top quality fighting sword made for an officer of an artillery regiment who has chosen to give himself the best equipment.

This was the choice of many officers of officers towards the rear of the line as they were often prey to attacks.

This sword is beautifully frost etched with the symbols of the royal artillery.

The sword in its leather scabbard with no rust or pitting just some minimal wear to the plating.

The sword bears the cipher of King George V.

The sword has the serial number 53290 which we have left unresearched so the new owner can uncover the history themselves and it means we can sell it just as a really good quality Wilkinson with lots of potential.

The sword is 42 inches long.

The blade is 45 inches long.

The sword weighs 1.11Kg.

~ Condition ~

The sword is in near mint condition with no damage to the blade and some minor wear to the leather and plating.
