This is a gold pierced badge of the Royal Army Medical Corp depicting the rod of Asclepius within a laurel wreath.
The badge reads “R.A.M.C”, the initials for the Royal Army Medical Corp.
On the reverse of the bar there is a makers mark reading “AJ.H”. It is also stamped 9CT for the gold quality.

The bar of the badge is 5 cm wide. The badge itself is 2 cm tall and 1.4 cm wide. The badge weighs 2.1 grams.

The pin is slightly bent. The badge and bar however are in good condition.
