A charming earthenware figure of a tabby kitten by the Norfolk based potter Jenny Winstanley.

Winstanley was producing these hand-made kittens and cats (and sometimes hares) from the 1950’s through to 2004.

The kitten is portrayed lying on its back in a playful manner.

It is hand-painted and features beautiful glass eyes.

It is signed to the base.

The piece has some crackling of the glaze which is to be expected but otherwise is in lovely condition with no damage.
