~ Whitefriars Cinnamon Totem Vase By Geoffrey Baxter c1960’s #2 ~

A classic ‘Totem’ vase in cinnamon, pattern no. ‘9671’ by Whitefriars dating to the 1960s.

The ‘Totem’ vase was designed by Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars as part of the textured range which launched in 1967.

The vase is of tapered rectangular form in cinnamon (brown) coloured glass.

The front face of the vase has somewhat geometric design in relief. The other faces of the vase are plain with the characteristic dimpled effect which gives the ‘Textured’ range its name.

The vase has the smooth circular pontil mark to the base which again is characteristic of Whitefriars glass.

~ Condition ~

The vase is in a beautiful condition with no damage.

~ Dimensions ~

The vase measures 4.5 cm (1 ¾ inches) deep and 7.5 cm (3 inches) wide with a height of 26.5 cm (10.5  inches).
