This is a great example of an S71/84 bayonet that would have been used as an attachment to the Masuer K98 rifle throughout the Second World War. Both the scabbard and the bayonet have matching serial numbers of 7584 and were manufactured by E.u.F Horster. The blade is blued, fullered and stamped with the date (1938) and maker’s name.

*Condition*
The blade is in excellent condition with very minor wear. The scabbard is uniformly pitted across the surface and the grip has some light pitting.
