~ Battle Of Jenikoj ~

The battle involved the 6th and 7th Dubiners and Munsters to capture the village of Jenikoj to cut the railway line to Adrianople and Constantinople.

The village was captured but the British were caught between their own artillery and a counterattack by the Bulgarians. 385 Allied froms were killed, wounded or missing in action.
