Stevens Arms was an American firearms manufacturer founded by Joshua Stevens in 1864 in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Their earliest product was a tip-up action single shot pistol.
The Old Model Pocket Pistol is one of the original two Stevens pistols, and was the model for most of the 14 different pistols. It is estimated that they made 15,000 between 1864-1886. In the 1860’s, the Old Model Pocket pistols were very popular as a large portion of the adult American population believed that they should have one or more concealable weapons.
