*US,  Replica PASGT Style Training Helmet with Webbing Suspension*

A lightweight replica example of the well-known U.S. PASGT (Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops) helmet design, widely adopted by the United States military from the early 1980s and subsequently used by police and security forces around the world. The helmet is of moulded polymer construction rather than Kevlar ballistic material and follows the distinctive PASGT profile with forward visor and extended ear protection.

The shell retains its black finish with a rubberised protective bumper edge around the rim. Fitted with a green nylon webbing chinstrap and an internal adjustable suspension system consisting of webbing straps mounted to a plastic inner cradle with central cord adjustment, allowing ventilation and size adjustment. The helmet also retains a green elastic helmet band around the exterior, typical of modern field or training use.

This type of helmet is commonly produced as a lightweight training or replica example for cadet use, airsoft, reenactment, film work, or non-ballistic demonstration purposes, replicating the appearance of the U.S. PASGT combat helmet without the weight or ballistic construction of the original Kevlar issue models.

Historical Note:
The PASGT helmet was introduced by the U.S. military in 1983, replacing the long-serving steel M1 helmet. Constructed from Kevlar, it provided significantly improved ballistic protection and remained standard issue through the late Cold War and into the early years of the War on Terror before being gradually replaced by the Modular Integrated Communications Helmet (MICH) and Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH). Replica and training versions of the PASGT helmet have since been widely produced for non-ballistic applications.

*Condition*
Good used condition overall with surface wear, scuffs and marks to the exterior finish consistent with handling and use. The rubber edge trim remains intact and the internal webbing suspension and chinstrap are present and functional. There is evidence of tape residue to the rear of the shell where a label or marking was previously applied. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
