~ Royal Navy Cased Polished Bronze Naval Sextant ~
A polished bronze sextant in its original oak case.
The frame has a bronze scale, automatic clamp adjustment and lamp.
The piece is complete with all the original mirrors, filters etc,
The sextant comes with three lens tubes, two eyepiece ends, a key, a brush & ta liquid bottle.
The lid case has a stencilled painted stores number to the front and top.
~ Dimensions ~
The case has a width of 11 inches (27.9 cm), a depth of 11.2 inches (28.4 cm) and a height of 6 inches (15.25 cm). The set weighs 4.61 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The sextant has been professionally polished & in a excellent condition. The lenses are clear, the filters are fine as are the mirrors.
The box has some usage/display wearing such as surface scratching and wear to the lid, especially around the edges.
