~ Pair Of Victorian Scene-Painted Glass Vases ~
A lovely pair of Victorian glass vases featuring hand-painted pastoral scenes.
The vases are of ovoid form with a cream ground rising to a green rim and white interiors.
They are both decorated with beautiful hand-painted scenes featuring young men and women courting in countryside settings to
the front.
These images are framed with raised gilt-work, hand painted flowers and foliage.
Both vases are simply marked to their bases with the number ‘2’.
~ Dimensions ~
The vases each have an approximate diameter of 13cm (5 inches) and a height of 29cm (11 ¼ inches).
Together they weigh 1.34 Kg.
~ Condition ~
There are a couple of small scratches to the images, some wear to the gilt in parts and a few grubby marks throughout but otherwise the vases are in a very nice condition with no cracks, chips or damage.
