~ Pair Of 18th Century Derby Porcelain Figures Of An Ottoman Turkish Couple ~
A delightful pair of hand painted and gilt figurines of a young couple in resplendent pink and yellow clothing, both on a scroll base.
These date to around 1770.
~ Condition ~
The figures are in general excellent order with bright colours and gilding. The only defect I can find is a rough patch on the upper side of the ladies right hand, possibly she used to carry something small there.
~ Dimensions ~
The figures are approximately 9 cm (3.5 inches) tall.
