2nd World War FS Commando Dagger B2 by Wilkinson with Scabbard

This is an original second pattern Fairbairn Sykes dagger by Wilkinson. The B2 stamp on the cross-guard shows us that this is a Wilkinson-made knife. The knife comes complete with its scabbard and attached frog. B2 second pattern daggers are one of the most sought after Fairbairn Sykes daggers due to their rarity. The blade and cross-guard have been darkened or ‘blackened’ to prevent glimmering which would ensure the stealth of its wielder. This is a superb example of the second pattern FS knife.

*Condition*

The blade has some minor pitting and scratches and the brass grip has some very small knocks and marks on the smooth parts. The pommel has a couple of very small dents. The leather scabbard is in excellent condition with the faintest of marks. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
