Initialed WW1 1821 Pattern Army Service Corps Officers Sword By Wilkinson

Here we have a nice 1821 Army Service Corps by the Wilkinson sword company manufactured during their busiest sword producing period, WW1. This is a top quality fighting sword made for an officer of a logistics regiment who has chosen to give himself the best equipment.

This was the choice of many officers of officers towards the rear of the line as they were often prey to attacks.

This sword is beautifully frosted etched with the symbols of the ASC and has the initials P. D. etched into the blade.

The sword in its leather scabbard with no rust or pitting just some minimal wear to the plating, the sword comes with its original knot.

The sword bears the cypher of King George V.

The sword has the serial number 39091 which we have left unresearched so the new owner can uncover the history themselves and it means we can sell it just as a really good quality Wilkinson with lots of potential without the extra pricetag of a named sword.
