A lovely sweet tin in the form of a suitcase advertising ‘Turnwright’s Toffee De-Dight’.

Turner & Wainwright’s were a West Yorkshire sweet manufacturers trading from 1896 to the 1930's.

~ Dimensions ~

The tin measures 26cm (10 ¼ inches) by 18cm (7 inches) by 8.5cm (3 ¼ inches).

It weighs 540g

~ Condition ~

The tin is in a decent condition for its age with some dings and scratches as you might expect.

The leather handle has had some rudimentary repair, it could probably do with a couple of stitches to make it secure.
