Here we have a fantastic automaton that plays two musical tunes in succession. The mechanism also rotates the windmill and water wheel,  the ship gently rocks too. It is housed in a domed case on an ebonised wooden stand with a braided lower edge to the dome. The back of the dome is painted with a rural scene. Very delightful and charming.

~ Condition ~

The automaton is in good working order, though the windmill sails need a bit of coaxing occasionally. The glass dome is in good order and the piece presents well. The original key is included.

~ Dimensions ~

The automaton is 37 cm (14.5 inches) tall, the base is 17 cm (6.75 inches) across and 21 cm (8.25 inches) deep.

It weighs 1.8 Kg.
