~ Circa 1780 British Flintlock Ordinance Pistol for Trooper ~

A nice example of a good quality flintlock pistol of 18th century England.
The piece bears two proof marks on the barrel and its metalwork has some minimal foliage decorations. The stock but finial is made of brass, indicating its former military nature.

~ Condition ~

The piece remains in good condition with a very clean bore and a nice patina.

The woodwork has some signs of age but its overall condition is fine.

~ Dimension ~

The barrel is 9 inches (13 cm long) and the overall length of the piece is 16 inches (40.5 cm).

It weighs 887 grams.
