The steel sword has both a pierced blade and guard, and a heavy pommel.

Please refer to the images for the condition. The piece appears to be a dug up find due to loss of the blades edge and minor loss of the glad. There is some loss to the blades edge and minor loss of the guard. The original leather bound grip is still present.

The sword is 94 cm (37 inches) in total length with a 77 cm (30 inches) blade.
