~ Cased 9 Carat Gold Diamond And Enamel Royal Artillery Sweetheart Badge ~
A fine quality example in the form of an artillery field gun with the cannon wheel set with 15 rose cut diamonds,
enamelled lower motto and mounted onto a 9ct gold brooch mount.
The lettering on the blue enamel reads "QUO FASET GLORIA DUCUNT" which is Latin for "Where faith and glory lead".
It comes in its fitted blue velvet jewellers box, the inside of the lid reads for Haddon And Franklin of The Parade, Taunton.

There is a chip to the enamel on the lower centre.
