A Zenith AF/P (Alta Frequenza Precisione) ‘Spaceman’ automatic watch dating to the early 1970’s.

This space age (hence the name) watch has a curved brushed steel case with polished edges and a ‘TV’ shaped plexi crystal

It has a dark blue dial with fine white lines denoting the hours with markers at the 12 and 6 o’clcok positions

It features a day/date window in a band to the centre of the dial.

The dial reads ‘Zenith AF/P, Swiss Made’.

The watch has a case no. 760D672, stamped on the screw-down case-back.

The watch has a 28 Jewels, 405 Calibre, automatic movement.

The watch is missing its original strap/bracelet but comes on a new fabric strap.

The watch case measures 35mm x 43mm.

The dial measures 27mm x 23mm.

The watch weighs 61.5g

The case has a couple of very slight marks but is overall in lovely condition.

The dial is clean and the crystal is free from scratches.
