This pistol has the hammer positioned on the center of the metal frame and a octagon shaped barrel. Also it has an oval steel trigger guard and plain sack walnut grip.
On the right side of the chamber are a pair of German proof marks and on the lower part serial no. '39'.
The barrel is stamped on the left hand side with serial no '39' and on the right side with later '8gr NGP M/71' and underneath this with '7gr P' marks.
On the lower part, in front of the chamber, the barrel has a pair of German proof marks and near by is stamped number '72,68'.

The barrel length is 13 cm (5.1 inches) and the overall length is 25.5 cm (10 inches).
The weight of the pistol is 230 grams.
~ Condition ~
The pistol is good condition. The barrel has developed a decent patina and has a few minor pits.
The are a couple of corrosion spots but nothing serious.
