~ Hausser German Post War Tin Plate Toy 75 mm GebK 15 Mountain Gun ~
A nice quality tin plate toy of a ‘75mm GebK 15 Mountain Gun’ made by the German company O&M Hausser (famous for their ‘Elastolin’ figures). This is a post war version.
The piece comprises of a mountain gun mounted on a two wheel field carriage with an angled shield, a hinged compartment for ammo and a wheel to elevate the guns angle.
The piece is painted in a green finish, has rubber tyres and has a ‘firing’ mechanism for caps. The piece is marked ‘Hausser’ to the barrel and ‘Hausser’ to each tyre.
~ Dimensions ~
The piece measures 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) in length, 3 inches (7.5 cm) wide and 2.25 inches (5.5 cm) in height.
It weighs 145g.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in a very nice condition. The tyres are in good order and the paintwork has only a couple of very minor scratches.
The firing function is a bit worn, but will work with a little care.
