*British, WW2, Pacific Star Campaign Medal, Original Ribbon*

An original Second World War Pacific Star campaign medal, struck in gilt-bronze and suspended from its correct period ribbon. The obverse displays the crowned GR VI royal cypher within a central roundel bearing the title THE PACIFIC STAR, with the characteristic six-pointed star form. The reverse is plain as issued. The medal retains good definition to the cypher and lettering, with honest service wear and natural toning consistent with age.

Historical Note:
The Pacific Star was instituted in 1945 for service in the Pacific Theatre between 8 December 1941 and 2 September 1945, recognising British and Commonwealth personnel who served in operations against Japan across areas including Burma, Malaya, Singapore, the Dutch East Indies, and the wider Pacific region. Campaign stars of this type were issued unnamed and were typically worn with other theatre awards such as the Burma Star or War Medal.

*Condition*
Good original example with light surface wear to the high points and even age patina. The reverse shows typical darkening and small areas of verdigris consistent with brass/bronze composition. Ribbon appears period with minor fraying at the ends but remains well attached. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.

Original WW2 Pacific Star with correct period ribbon, good honest service wear and untouched patina.
