British bushed pattern 1860 ‘Yataghan’ sword bayonet for Snider Enfield. Steel pommel containing bayonet locking catch, chequered leather grips held by three round headed steel rivets, and the screw holding the leaf spring.  Steel cross-guard with swept forward quillons, and bushed muzzle ring. Muzzle ring reduced to fit a Martini Infantry-rifle. ‘Crown under E 5’ Enfield Inspector Marked.

*Condition*

Overall this item is in very good to excellent condition.  The blade has some historical surface pitting. The grip is hard and crisp. The scabbard is sound but some of the leather has peeled off.
