There is a sapphire claw-set to the centre with 8 smaller sapphires set around it in a diamond pattern.

 The ring has a slim plain band.

The ring is hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1982 with a makers stamp of ‘P&RB’.

The central sapphire measures 0.10 carats (3mm diameter).

The others measure 0.02 carats (1.5mm diameter) each.
