19th Century British Naval Officers Dirk and Scabbard

For sale is a very good quality 19^th century British officer’s naval dirk. The grip is a combination of brass and horn connected to a steel blade. The well preserved scabbard is a mixture of brass and leather.  This dirk would of been most probably been used as an boarding weapon for junior officers and midshipman’s.

*Condition*

On the whole, the dirk and scabbard is in very good condition. The horn grip and scabbard are well preserved but do have some small marks. There is some light aged pitting on the blade. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
