~ 1856 Pattern Named Presentation Scottish Dancing Bayonet ~

This is a Scottish dancing bayonet named to a G. E. Bailey and was made by Parker, Field & Son 233 Holborn Street, London.

~ Condition ~

The bayonet is in good order with clear etchings, the sprung clasp works well.

The scabbard has a bend in the leather near the tip. It is in otherwise tidy condition.

~ Dimensions ~

The bayonet has an overall length of 72 cm (28.5 inches) with a 58 cm (23.5 inch) blade.
