This is a Mauser M1924 sword bayonet, likely of Yugoslavian origin, it lacks markings but fits the length profile commonly associated with Yugoslavian variants. Although Venezuelan M1924 bayonets also exist, they tend to have a significantly larger muzzle ring, making this example more likely Yugoslavian.
The Yugoslavian sword bayonet was designed for the 8mm M1924 Mauser Short Rifle, closely modeled after the FN M1924 short rifle. There were three primary Yugoslavian variants: the M1924 and M1924/30, which differ in how the tang and pommel are joined, and the M1924Б variant, received from Austria as part of WWI reparations, which had a shorter mounting slot. This particular example is an M1924/30, likely produced between 1931 and 1941.
It includes its original steel scabbard, adding to its authenticity.
Background:
The Mauser Gewehr 1898 was most likely the most influential Bolt-Action rifle design in history. Mauser Werke exported derivatives far and wide, and even after WWII many countries continued production of Mauser bolt action designs. The U.S. M1903 Springfield was itself so heavily based on the Mauser Action that Mauser Werke sued and won in court.

A fine example in near unissued condition, deep blued finish. Some minor pitting to pommel and cross guard. Scabbard fits snugly and is in good used condition with minor marks. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
