2nd World War 3rd Pattern FS Commando Dagger

Out of stock

SKU: JA_823971274 Categories: ,

This is a third pattern Fairbairn-Sykes, British fighting knife from World War 2. The crossguard reads “Bexfield, Sheffield“ and the grip retains its copper finish. This is likely to be a mid-war knife due to its squashed, doughnut shaped pommel and features a double edged, 17.5cm blade. The black, parkerized blade is in its original, excellent and unsharpened condition. This is one of the most iconic blades of the Second World War.

*Condition*

This third pattern knife is in excellent condition with some of the copper finish still visible on the grips and a superb parkerized blade. The scabbard is original and strong with some slight movement in the chape. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
