Royal Air Force Air Ministry Switchbox Identification Morse Key Type B, Ref. No. 5C/372. Part number is clearly visible on the front along with the AM Crown. The switchbox was operated by the pilot to send Morse key signals via the navigation lights to other aircraft for identification purposes. As used in the majority of RAF aircraft during the Second World War including Spitfires, Hurricanes and Lancaster Bombers. 8.5cm diameter
