WW2 Nazi m40 helmet Stalhelm battlefield relic cleaned and repainted no liner.

This helmet still has the makers mark of ET visible inside the left inner edge, but the serial number is no longer legible.

It was produced at the Eisenhuttenwerk Thale factory between March 1940 and August 1942.

It was a battlefield find and has some degradation from being buried prior to restoration.

Part of the edge on right hand side is eroded by rust.

It is generally heavily pitted due to being underground for some time.

It also has 2 small perforations as pictured.

For conservation purposes it has been repainted
