The dial is named 'Longines' and 'Swiss Made' along with the government broad arrow. The face is a light tan with black luminescent hands and Arabic numerals with luminescent batons.

The case is of stainless steel. The back of the case is engraved 'Roderick Macrae 1925-1947 Royal Caledonian Schools'.
