~ WW2 Era Nazi Germany Etched Parade Bayonetr ~

This is a K98 rifle bayonet used for parade purposes. The scabbard has been painted red at one point in time. It is a remembrance piece.

The ricasso bears the manufacturer mark Robert Klass, Solingen.

The etching on the blade reads 'Zur erinnerung an meine dienftgett' ('In memory of my service'). The etching bears the 'Ges.Gesch.' mark (German Trade Mark).

~ Dimensions ~

The blade is 25cm and the overall length of the bayonet is 37cm.

The bayonet in its scabbard length is 40cm.
