This is an original army green piece, repainted multiple times to be used in different areas.

The edge is marked on the interior 999959 Parthn. R.W.H. R0Cc 1940. (Radar Warning & Homing)

The chinstrap holders are marked III 1940 and the liner CCI 11 1941.
