This is an excellent example of a Russian 1910 Maxim machine gun used in WW2. Unlike most other machine guns in WW2, the Russian infantry left the wheels on in order to make it more mobile. On the barrel jacket, there is a large opening which allowed the jacket to be packed with snow. This kept the barrel cool under sustained fire. Maxims were known for their reliability and were designed to work in all conditions and temperatures.

This gun has been deactivated to the current standards.
