The enamelled badge is of gilt metal with a central winged shell and a brass pin.

It is back stamped for 'Great War 1914-1918' and 'Did her bit for munitions'.

They were issued to women for WW1 factory war service.

Each side of the badge is 4cm (1.5 inches) wide.
