The cap is in feld grey with a red velvet band. To the front are cockades for both the national state and Prussia.

The inside cotton liner is stamped JR 71 and 1917.

~ Condition ~

There are several moth holes and general fraying to the edges.

The cap is 24 cm (9.5 inches) fore to aft.
