~ Original WW1 British Webley No.1 Mk3 Signal Pistol ~

During the First and Second World Wars, Webley & Scott manufactured several single-shot, break-open signal flare gun devices that were utilised by the Commonwealth Military Forces. The No.1 Mk III was the most widely produced model, and it was manufactured in 1916 at the company's Birmingham facility. One of the most recognizable examples of these signal pistols from World War 1 is the No.1 Mk3, which features the Webley "winged bullet" and bears the marking "Webley & Scott Ltd London & Birmingham" along with proof stamps and mark 3 designations.
