~WW1 German Gewehr 98 Bayonet~

This is a fine example of a M1884/98 Bayonet modified for use with the Gewehr 98 Rifle with the removal of the muzzle ring and addition of a longer pommel to accommodate the Gewehr 98’s cleaning rod. The Cross guard is marked II M D 9067 and the blade of the spine is marked with a Crown and 87. The Makers name is present but unreadable.

*Condition*

The Bayonet is in good condition with the blade having some age related marks and the wooden furniture bearing some minor wear.
